I knew this was coming up, but I didn’t realize how quickly. Or, maybe September has just been flying by. (How is it already the 26th?!) Either way, this snuck up on me. This morning, I received the notification that it’s the one-year-anniversary of me starting this blog! One year ago, I published my first post (Big Changes) and realized that I wanted to pursue writing as a career. It’s been a wild ride since then, some of which I detailed in my 2017 in Review post, and 2018 has only been crazier. I’ve gotten published (click here if you wanna buy my book 🙂 ), my sister got engaged, I’ve been to 4 weddings, and I’m back living with all of my best friends. I wrote a series about my wonderful trip to Italy, I worked several different jobs, including one that I just started yesterday, as a library aide, and learned a lot at one of them (Things I Learned Working in Retail This Summer). I expanded on my passion for discussing and de-stigmatizing mental health, as shown in 13 Reasons Why: Rant, and simply Mental Health. I got to meet one of my favorite authors, go on a spring break trip with my friends, and surprise my little sisters all within 2 weeks (Solnit, Spring Break, & Surprises). There are so many more things I could mention, but I’m going to cut myself off here. If you really wanna know more, you can read the rest of the blog 😉
I want to say thank you for the overwhelming support I’ve received since starting this blog. Never did I think I’d be getting consistent views from around the globe, or interacting with so many amazing bloggers. This blog has become an outlet for me to express my feelings in ways I didn’t know were possible. So, if you’re reading this, thank you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for making this possible. Here’s to many years of blogging to come.
Stay tuned for more updates,
xoxo, second sister suzie
